Container desiccant blankets provide a comprehensive solution to container moisture issues. They create a dry environment inside the container and effectively absorb moisture. Suitable for various dry or wet cargoes, both bulk and packaged, these blankets also regulate the dew point, controlling it below the actual temperature to prevent mildew and corrosion.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Container desiccant blankets are primarily composed of calcium chloride, combined with starch and a gelling agent. Featuring a blanket-style design with a hygroscopic base material, each unit has a net weight of 1000g and a thickness of only 15mm or less. Utilizing a unique high-absorbency desiccant formula, these blankets achieve a moisture absorption capacity of 200%-300% within 30 days, with continuous absorption lasting up to 60 days and a maximum saturation rate of 300%. They continuously reduce relative humidity, making them ideal for bulk goods such as soybeans, grains, and other agricultural products, providing full protection throughout the voyage. Designed to be laid over goods like a blanket, they fit seamlessly in container spaces.

CHARACTERISTICS

Green and environmentally friendly material: The desiccant blanket’s primary component is calcium chloride, combined with starch and a gelling agent—all eco-friendly.

Double-packaged: Inner bag (PET paper + TYVEK) and outer non-woven bag. The PET paper prevents moisture from escaping at the bottom, maximizing the economic efficiency of the desiccant blankets.

The moisture absorption rate of the desiccant blanket reaches 280%, which fully ensures that goods remain free from moisture.

The blanket’s interior contains 6 desiccant bags, with a total weight of 1.5 kg, ensuring that the desiccant blanket can fully absorb moisture from multiple directions.

A desiccant blanket is also a desiccant designed to provide effective humidity control for tightly packed containers. It is typically used between cargo and the container, where there is no space to hang desiccant products. The blanket measures 500mm × 1500mm and can absorb moisture continuously for 60 days.

Instructions for Using Desiccant Blankets

Seal all air vents inside the container to prevent continuous airflow from outside.
Place the desiccant blankets between the container and the cargo according to the container and cargo specifications. (Please ensure a sufficient quantity is used.)
Load the goods into the container as soon as possible after placing the desiccant blankets.
Close the container door immediately after loading.
